How Much Can We Earn?

The short answer is: A lot!  We heard from some of the folks in the videos what kind of numbers they are earning - some as much as $1,500 annually!  But let's take an absurdly conservative look at what we - Frenship Band Boosters - might be able to achieve through scrip.

Do you spend at least...

• $125 per week in groceries?
• $25 per week on fuel?
• $75 per month dining out?
• $50 per month on entertainment and/or clothing?

We *did* say absurd!  Unless you are a miracle worker, the numbers above are extremely conservative.

According to research by various scrip centers, the average rebate received is 5%.  Some families see a higher average, some lower; but the overall average is about 5%.  So using the spending numbers above, the average family generates a monthly rebate of $38.75, or $465.80 annually (see chart below).

Again, that is $465 per family annually, based on numbers that are ridiculously low.

The Power of Teamwork

FHS Band students represent more than 200 families.  What happens when we all take ownership of our role with Frenship Band Boosters and participate with the scrip program?

With 200 families participating, by working together we can easily generate over $90,000 in totally free money each year.  The numbers speak for themselves!

And don't forget, you do not have to purchase (or sell) a single item at an inflated cost just to earn money.  Rather, your household budget - money that you already spend each and every month anyway - is put to use to earn these revenues.  With scrip, you just slightly change how you are spending that money.  That is, plan ahead, and spend with scrip.
